In 1997, I moved my family from Texas to Harrison, Arkansas. Born and raised in the Dallas /Ft. Worth area, I saw the region growing further away from the traditional American values that make our country great. I wanted my family in a community that honors God, loves people, and has a strong work ethic. I found this in Harrison, Arkansas - with the added bonus of beautiful mountains, vibrant river valleys, breathtaking waterfalls, and real natural beauty. I consider this region one of the prettiest places on "God's green earth."
I started in the real estate business in 1986: first as a sales agent and then as a broker. I have experience in buying and selling, as well as developing both commercial and residential properties. I retired from the real estate business for a few years, but in June 2012, I joined with my son, David Head, a realtor in Harrison since 2005, and opened Ozark Haven Realty. We see the Harrison area as an ideal place to retreat from the big city, enjoy rest and relaxation, and find a true haven in the midst of life's throws.

Since 1997, I have called Harrison, Arkansas, my home. I love the people, culture, and history of the Ozark Mountains. But mostly, I enjoy the many activities that the region has to offer: hiking to a nearby waterfall, hunting on a local ranch, capturing a photo of the breathtaking views, attending a show in Branson, and fishing and swimming in the many creeks, lakes, and rivers.
My interest in real estate began as a young child. My father owned his own real estate company in Texas, and he taught me a lot about buying and selling real estate. After I graduated from school in 2002, I decided to follow in my father's footsteps and get my real estate license. I have been a realtor in the Harrison area since 2005, and have sold multiple millions of dollars' worth of real estate. I consider it an honor to be a part of this community.
My Christian values, understanding of the real estate market, and familiarity with the area are all things I bring to the table when working with a client. I work hard to find the right piece of property, whether residential, commercial, farm land, or ranch. I am honest and fair in the information I provide, and I do whatever it takes to ensure that all my client's real estate dreams come true. Harrison, Arkansas, has been my home since 1972. I'm a graduate of both Harrison High School and North Arkansas Community College. I've always appreciated the values and traditions of the Harrison area, and considered it a great place to raise my two sons, Brandt and Mason.
Real estate is in my blood. It's what I've always done. My Dad got me started in the real estate business when I was 18. We owned and operated Marks Land Company for several years, and then I went on to work in a number of other real estate offices. I am a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club and a recipient of the "Awards for Excellence."
